"The Hansens went shopping for their own Polish stallion and in 1984, came
home with a two-year-old bay colt, Northerlei. Wendell Hansen liked his
pedigree and its generous portion of action horses, and the stallion sired
action for the Hansens and for their clients. Northerlei was well decorated with
show wins, including 1985 US Top 10 Futurity Colt and 1987 Region 1 Champion
Stallion. Northerlei offspring were judged Champions in Brazil, and they added
to Wen’s pride in his program." Arabian Horse World 2012

Grace
Kellie is out of Festivity VF, a daughter of *Bandos PASB. *Bandos
PASB was chief sire in Poland for 17 years, where he sired 3 Derby winners
and 10 Polish National Champions. *Bandos PASB had a worldwide
impact on Arabian horse breeding. He was the only Negatiw offspring out
of Bandola (she was known as the Queen of Poland). In 1982 he was
imported to the US by Ventura Farms, California. At Ventura he had a daily
schedule, strictly adhered to; first turned out in the morning, then a trail
ride over Ventura hills, a bath, and then to the covering shed up to 3 times a
day, all his mares were bred naturally there. Last published stud fee $35,000
*Bandos PASB
was by the great Russian stallion Negatiw. Negatiw was bred by
Tersk Stud, Russia. He was 50% Crabbet. Exported to Poland in 1962 and was a Race
winner in Poland. Race record: 1/4 (2-0-0). Sire of many race winners. Negatiw's
sire line was Ibrahim and his dam line was Gazella DB. Negatiw
was 1954 Russian National Champion Stallion. He was credited as the stallion
that returned the Ibrahim sire to Poland. Negatiw remains highly
regarded around the world as the most Internationally influential grandson of
the immortal Skowronek. Though bred in Russia, Negatiw was from
predominantly Polish bloodlines as his dam was a Janów Podlaski confiscate from
the 2nd World War. As a considerably successful sire at Tersk, Negatiw
was greatly desired by the Poles for many years. He was finally obtained at age
17, standing in Poland for another 10 years with outstanding results. Having
already sired International Sires of Significance *Salon and *Naborr
in the USSR, Negatiw left Poland with the immortal *Bandos PASB
and a host of wonderfully typey, ultra-refined and extraordinarily feminine
broodmares. Director Krzysztalowicz described Negatiw as 'extremely dry
and refined, with a small, chiseled head accented by beautifully large, dark
and luminous eyes and small ears. His legs were relatively correct (though
slightly sickle-hocked) and his back and topline were strong and a bit long. As
a stallion, he was strikingly refined and distinguished - he represented a rare
example of perfection.'
*Bandos
PASB's dam, Bandola, was dam to several outstanding progeny such as: *Banat
bred by Janów Podlaski, Poland. Chief progenitor of the Krzyzyk DB sire
line in Poland. Leased to England 1975-1977 becoming British National Champion
Stallion, then returned to Poland. *Banat sold to Lasma Arabians, USA,
in 1984 at the Polish Prestige sale for $525,000. He died soon after his
arrival in the US before siring any offspring; *Bajram bred by Albigowa,
Poland, Imported to USA in 1963. His race record 1/6 (2-1-3), 1964 US National
Top 10 Stallion, 1966 Canadian National Champion Stallion, 1967 US National Top
10 Stock Horse; the great *Bandos PASB; Barysz+ bred by National
